The Sales Agent is a key member of The Minery Ltd.’s team, and focuses on bringing in new clients. This position works closely with our Director of Partnerships and reports to the Senior Manager of Sales and Contract Development.  The Minery Head Office is located in London, Ontario.  This position will be based out of Toronto.

The overall goal of this position is to reach out to target markets and secure demos with the intension of locking in new clients. The Sales Agent will be a natural hunter and have the ability to get results based on cold calling and relationship development.

Day-to-day activities will vary and may include but are not limited to cold calling, updating client target list database, presenting demos for the platform, providing input on marketing materials and attending sales meetings.

Specific Requirements:

  • Natural hunter mentality.
  • Ability to persuade people to talk and divulge their pain points at a dealership.
  • Effective oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Organized with an eagle eye for the details.
  • Microsoft Office: Proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Relationship Management: Manage positive relationships with clients and coworkers.
  • Customer Service: Communicate and deliver to internal and external clients in a timely manner.
  • Take initiative and find areas of opportunity to continue to grow the business.
  • Confidence and demeanor required to conduct a top notch cold call.
  • Big picture thinker and able to take the small parts and fit them together in a logical manner.
  • Able to manage difficult situations and deal with rejections in a compelling manner.
  • Able to manage a database of dealers.
  • Work hand in hand with the marketing team to enhance and optimize the sales strategy.
  • Bring forth ideas for new sales avenues and plans for reaching potential clients.
  • Assist with the analysis of current sales strategies and help to manage effectiveness.
  • Attend tradeshows when required. Represent The Minery and HR4 with professionalism.
  • Travel when required.

Education:

  • University or college degree, or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Experience working in a customer-facing position.
  • Experience in automotive dealerships/industry is necessary.
  • 1-3 years B2B sales experience.
